    Good day Forum,

Actually I have submitted this before, the first time back in November 2007 -- but never solved it and never received a response from anyone on the Forum. The problem continues to exist. To wit...

During Lara's first encounter with the Quad Bike while in the warehouse and after "offing" two killers. She sees this Bike. In TombRaider Girl's walkthrough for this level she describes the following:

"Climb onto the quad bike and drive up the ramp. Park the quad bike on the other side and climb up onto a little platform with fire and 'no entry' sign on the left. From there you can climb onto the block and overlook the next part of the tunnel. If you have the MP5 you can use it on the worker over there. For most of the other weapons he will be out of range.
Return to your quad bike and drive it up the ramp."

I've driven the Quad Bike up the ramp to the first turn, and saw nothing but "SLINC" lables. I 've also driven the Quad Bike up to the top of the ramp and STILL do not find the platform described in TombRaider Girl's Walkthrough.

I simply do not find the "little platform with fire and 'no entry' sign ANYPLACE. Consequently, I am in this room with a locked door and a "killer train" on the other side of the only exit I see.

Once in while I have encountered situations where something was supposed to be collected (medkit, ammo, etc...) and it just was not there... so I passed on locating it. Those things I can compensate for by being careful and a bit frugal with Lara's ammo/weapons. This is different - a critical part of the puzzle. If anyone one of you has completed Level 3 and can help me to find the exit that TombRaider Girl's walkthrough describes, please help me out. Anyone?... :-)

    Warm regards, Tareq

    Hi Klaas,

Thanks for trying. I reiterate, you are not looking in the right place for this solution. I remain stuck with Lara in this building and have more or less given up on the game at this point. There is a bug someplace that I have uncovered that apparently no one else has experienced and it has brought my game to a dead halt.

The ramp that Lara is on, after first discovering the Quadbike, leads to NO place except a drop off of the end of the ramp down onto a floor in the building. An opening above that floor leads to the Subway tracks and even if I wanted to I could not get the Quadbike out of it -- it is too high.

On one occassion I did manage to get Lara to side flip out of that opening, only to be killed by the train which immediately appeared. So, she is trapped in this building because the "little platform and fire exit sign..." that is described in TombRaider Girl's Walkthrough do not appear.

    Thanks once more,

    Tareq :flare

    Good day Lady,

Well, this was apparently just bad coding on the part of the game developers. Their links to AutoPlay and the Nicktoons dot EXE (.exe) files were just not done properly.

I solved the problem myself by walking through each folder on the CD and discovering one called toonsDX7 that apparently has coding which checks to ensure that the PC has a minimum of DirectX7 installed. I happen to have DX9 on this system so I just activated that file (toonsDX7) in place, directly from the CD, and the game launched fine. Needless to say, after I placed that ICON on my desktop I renamed it to "NickToons Racing". So now I have the game that had me pulling my hair out for a couple of days.

Thank you for your prompt response. I appreciate your attempt to assist...

    Warm regards,

    Hi Klaas,

Sorry, but your response apparently addresses a problem elsewhere in this Game :huh . My location with Lara is at Level 3 of Tombraider Girl's Walkthrough.

To wit, Lara has just come from the tracks following her collection of the Rocket Launcher, et al, into this building (a storage warehouse or somesuch for SLINC crates). She has just off'ed the two guards therein and found the Quad Bike behind a crate. There is no place to proceed except up a ramp facing her as she brings out the Bike -- no holes to jump over or other obstacles to handle. The ramp just makes a right angle turn and proceeds to a sharp drop off at the end. There is an elevated opening that the Bike cannot access (fortunately) back to the tracks with a killer train just waiting in the shadows to cream anything (or anyone) that comes out of that elevated opening. And of course, the door from which Lara entered this building is now closed so there is no way out of it. If you read that piece of Tombraider Girl's Walkthrough (Level 3) - you will see where I presently am. I simply do not find the "...small platform and fire exit..." of which the Walkthrough speaks.

All of that to describe where I am with this game. Your response apparently describes Lara in another place, perhaps farther on.

Thanks anyway for your attempt to assist...

    Hi Colleagues,

This request is a little lengthy, but necessary I think.

I asked this question on the main Forum page months ago and never got a response. Perhaps someone viewing the Technical Page can help. In Shakespeare Cliffs during the point at which Lara has avoided the trains, collected the rocket launche, gained access to the building and taken out the guards there. She then takes the Quad Bike up the ramp. My trouble begins there. I checked with the Walkthrough for this which says:

"Climb onto the quad bike and drive up the ramp. Park the quad bike on the other side and climb up onto a little platform with fire and "no entry" sign on the left. From there you can climb onto the block and overlook the next part of the tunnel. If you have the MP5 you can use it on the worker over there. For most of the other weapons he will be out of range.
Return to your quad bike and drive it up the ramp."

    However,
I've driven the Quad Bike up the ramp to the first turn, and saw nothing but "SLINC" lables. I 've also driven the Quad Bike up to the top of the ramp and STILL do not find the platform described in TombRaider Girl's Walkthrough.

I simply do not find the "little platform with fire and 'no entry' sign ANYPLACE. Can ANYONE guide me in locating that platform and exit sign that the Walkthrough describes?...Anyone?... :-)

    Hi Forum Colleagues,

This is Tareq, and I am having trouble re-installing a NickToons game that I previously had originally played fine. I receive a progress bar that tells me "...the Wizard is processing my install request", which is then immediately followed by another pop-up that asks if I "...wish to REMOVE the application and all of its components". The only options given with the pop-up are YES and CANCEL. If anyone has the NickToons Racing game from INFOGRAMS, product number #04-22892CD, and can assist with this thread please respond. My kids will be thrilled to solve this. I have emailed INFOGRAMS and NickOnLine (back in early December) -- to receive no responses to this date :( . Appreciate it...

    Good day Forum:

I am not sure what happened to my initial attempt to send this message (it disappeared mid-sentence)...

This is Tareq. Many thanks for the response to my former question. It solved that issue. :happi

However, I am now stalled in a different place. Please note the following quote:

    <H4>"Quad Bike Tour</H4>
<IMG class=wtim alt="" src="http://www.tombraidergirl.net/help/la/cliff02resize.jpg" align=right /> Climb onto the quad bike and drive up the ramp. Good day, Tareq here...

This is one of the games I began long before I discovered the Tombraidergirl Web Site and am just now getting back to.

At the point following the Water Tunnel puzzle, in the "Getting Oriented" section -- I seem to be stuck attempting to climb back up into the tower after opening the doors of Thor, Atlas, Neptune, and Damocles, and capturing the keys of Thor and Damocles. Lara cannot jump high enough to reach any of the platforms in order to get to the Atlas and Neptune doors. My question is -- Is this because I have collected the Damocles key ahead of the Atlas and Neptune keys? I have examined the Walkthru for this and the order of collection is different. Must the keys be collected in the order described in the Walkthru? I will appreciate a reply from any of you. Thanks in advance... Tareq :-?

Good day, this is Tareq and I need assistance from anyone who has completed Shakespeare Cliffs. In "The Tunnel" at the point where Lara has successfully dodged the trains and collected the Rockets and Launcher -- when she exits the old Steam Train area and returns to the tracks -- WHERE DOES SHE LOCATE THE SWITCH to open the door leading to the guards and the Quad Bike. I do not find a "switch" and have been killed several times looking for it by the third train coming from the opposite direction ;( . Consequently I am stuck at this point. Anyone please help... Thanks and regards. I am new to the Forum and am expressly pleased to meet with you all :wave2: .
