There is already that kind of tec. stuff. There is a game,
D.O.A.2 (Dead or Alive Two) for PS2 that is very well put together
in both backgronds and the charaters themselves. There
is one level that is set with a forest in the background and
a stream going through the middle of the arena. When a
character goes through the stream and kicks or even moves a
foot through the water, it splashes and sparkles like water,
not paint like in a lot of games. Check it out.

Just remember to blink once every minute or so or use some eyedrops! :D
But in the next day or so I'm going to start writing. I'll tell you all when I'm done.
I can't wait either! I have to wait for everyone to vote! :o Hehehe

I "now" what you mean. Hehehe :P
But I got it up and running. I'm just polishing
it up now. I put links to my story here and art
so they are on my fav. links and I was wondering
if I could get a banner from you to put on. Just
so there is a front door to your site as well.

Thanks! Way cool! 8) My bro and I are going to start the process
Monday and I'm just typing everything up before hand so
I don't get any twisted words or miss anything. I'm not the
best speller  but I don't want it to show in my page. I visited
a site where the guy didn't check at all and it was terrible!

Well, I was hoping to do a regular page,
one for my art and one for my fan art,
could I provide a link to your site from
that page? It will have to do with mainly
TombRaider for now because as of now
she is the only fan art I've done a lot of
for. I have a couple of pics of dif games
like the guy off Winback, Raziel off of
Soul Reaver, and some things like that.

I have to confess, I haven't had the time to see the movie.
Not to mention every time we go to rent movies my bro
has a cow if we even sugest renting it. He thinks it was a
crime to let Ang. be Lara. I can't truely judge but I think
that they should have chosen someone else...the chick
they had on the Perfict Dark comercial, she would have been
really good. At first when I saw it I thought that was the movie
of Tomb Raider. Know what I'm talking about?

[ffstory]"Fine, if that's the way it's going to be. I'll go to the cellar with you." I could probably take him down a lot easier than Hercules over there anyway.

"The cellar it shall be. Volge, please aid Miss Lara out of the vehicle and untie her legs so she can walk. Then go along and set up a table with food in her room, I'm sure she is hungry, aren't you?"

"Famished," I ground out as Volge manhandled me. If I had my Eagles, I'd show him how to treat a lady! However, I do not, so I had better cool it until I can get something to use for weapon.

Then Volge stood me up and I silently followed my captor down elegantly carved stone stairs, through a doorway-sized archway and into a cool stone hallway. My arms were still tied and Mokkera had his hand on my arm in case I stumbled. Or so he said. His hand was smooth and warm, except for the calluses on the bump of each joint where the fingers gave way to the palm. Why in the world would a man like this have calluses?

"Here we are Lara, my own wine room and private office. I thought you might like to ask me some questions before I put you away for the night." He sat me down slightly forcefully in a plush high-backed chair before winding the extra rope around me. I pushed against the ropes, but they didn't budge. He must have tied them before as well, there was no way that big ox of a guy upstairs could have made such intricate knots.

"Sure. First off, how about untying me, unless you're afraid of little ol' me?" I fluttered my lashed in a mock display of a 'southern bell'.

"No." His voice was unusually firm as he sat down behind his desk. "I am not afraid of you, but I do know you would try to escape and you wouldn't let me keep the mask in my possession. Therefore, I have to keep you here until I have completed my task and the mask is... taken care of."

"You're probably just some get-rich-quick guy that doesn't even realize what he has. Are you going to sell it off to the highest bidder? Put it in a private collection? It is mine, I found it. I did the research; clawed my way through the marshes and stones and found the rune temple in the ground. I made my way through mazes of tunnels and chambers for three days. I encountered snakes, bugs, bats, and rats as I maneuvered through every trap and obstacle. And for what, to have someone piggy back in on my findings and take what was rightfully mine?"

"You have no idea how appreciative I am of all that you have done for me; even though you never knew I was there. I knew what you were up to from day one. You see, it was my library you came to for additional information and I just happened to overhear you asking the librarian for help. Who do you think sent you the telegram informing you on a new shipment of books on the subjects you had been researching? I did, knowing full well you would bury your nose in every last one until you knew enough to take the trip and search for the mask. I kept close tabs on you, made very sure your every entry was copied, every movement noted, every habit learned to a tee. How you worked out, what weapons you have, even when you like to eat, sleep and bath. I know it all. And that, my dear, is why you are sitting here today." He leaned back, a smug look on his face as he waited for me to respond.

I stared back at him, trying to keep my unease tucked away so he didn't know how much he had shocked me. And I was shocked. I felt as if my whole existence was in a jar instead of my home. "You think that just because you studied me now you think you know me, ha!" I shrugged and tossed my head.

"Perhaps you would like a glass of wine before bed? Something to calm your nerves and help you sleep. I have quite a selection of wine down here, all temperature controlled to be perfectly chilled at all times. You do prefer a heavier wine before bed, don't you Lara. A Merlot, '29 perhaps? Ah yes this will do." He had walked to a case and peered inside. Opening it, he withdrew a bottle and advanced toward me. Picking up a glass, he poured a good measure into it. Tipping it to his lips, he sipped a bit and savored the flavor.

"Mmmm, heavy, not too dry. Well bodied. Here." He turned and held the glass to my mouth, placing a hand along my chin to guide me into a drink. I swallowed a little before turning away. He pulled the glass away and set it down. "See, that wasn't so bad now was it?"

"No, the wine wasn't, but I'd like to have better company."

"Would you care for dear old Volge to come and help you? He seems to have developed a liking to you..." A grin broke on his face as my mouth twisted in disgust. "No? How about some more wine?"

"Will you let me go to bed afterwards?"

"Only if you finish off the glass..." His eyes shone in a strange way.

I didn't see any other way. "Fine."

He leaned forward and grasped my chin again, tilting the glass to my lips. I downed it as fast as I could, wanting to be rid of this unnerving man.

"Slow down, this isn't a light wine." His gentle smile was more alarming to me than any evil grin would have ever been.

I finished at last, leaning back in my chair a fraction and breathing deeply. Then it hit me; a wave of dizziness. I fought to keep my head from spinning.

"What was in that?" I asked wearily, head dipping as my lids grew heavy.

"Just your standard sleeping agent, but when mixed with alcohol it can be a powerful sedative. Did you really think I was just going to leave you tied up in a room by yourself all night and expect you not to escape? Oh no, you are staying put. I'm making sure of it."

The last thing I saw as my eyes closed was Mokkera looking back at me, but something about the look was puzzling. "You bastard... I have half a... a mind t-to...."

I woke up once to the jostling of being carried somewhere, but slipped back into a state of dream.

The next time I woke up my mouth was drier than a desert. As I attempted to roll over, I discovered the handcuffs holding each hand and foot to a bedpost. This was not going to be easy. I looked around, not to shabby. This guy obviously had money and taste. The décor was appeasing and yet fit nicely in the Ireland backdrop. That's when I noticed the camera staring back at me.

A few minutes later I heard a rattle as a lock slid out of place and the doorknob turned. Volge shuffled in carrying a tray of food, which suddenly reminded my stomach of its lack of food and need for it. He let his eyes wander over me and I couldn't help the shudder that ran through my body. Mokkera walked in just as Volge put the tray on the nightstand.

"Volge, restrain Miss Croft's legs while I cuff her feet together. I don't want her to be able to kick. Blood over breakfast is very unappetizing." He walked to the end of the bed and leaned over it as Volge put his hands on my legs... a little high for my tastes.

Taking out a key, Mokkera unlocked one foot and moved it to the middle of the bed. Taking the other cuff off the bedpost, he then joined my feet with a single set of cuffs. With the left over pair, he cuffed one over the chain between my feet and the other to the metal post on the bed.

"Now Volge, if you would go tend to the other things we discussed earlier..." He watched Volge lumber out and shut the door. Then he turned to me. "Hungry?" He held up a lid on the tray, it let out a wonderful smell.

"No." I mumbled and turned my nose away, but my stomach turned traitor and growled extremely loud.

"Right, but I think you're lying, so why don't you sit up and I can feed you some breakfast?" There it was again, that deceitfully caring smile that made me want to run away from him, far away...

Now, four hours later, I find myself starring at the ceiling as I try to think of a way to get out of this mess. I needed to find my stuff and the mask. Mokkera had been right about one thing, I would not let him keep the mask. I rolled onto my side as far as I could in a pitiful attempt to ease the ache in my back.

This was excruciating, worse than having to deal with zombies as I limped down a hall with a foot long gash marring my leg. I wanted him to leave, but he was sitting right there, as he had been all day. How in the hell are you going to get out of this one Lara? Oh, like that's easy enough.

"Can I at least feed myself lunch?" I asked finally as Volge carried in a tray with the contents emanating delicious smells.

"Okay, but I'm going to uncuff one hand and resecure it as soon as you're finished." I nodded, hoping that in the mean time I could devise a plan of action. There it came; as the tray was lowering to the table, I saw my chance; two forks, one for salad and one for the main course. Now, to figure out how to hide it.

"Thank you," I said, playing up to Mokkera as he finished uncuffing me. He set the tray over my lap and I immediately knocked one of the forks to the ground. As his bent to pick up the fork, I slid the other one behind my back. He got up.

"Volge," he shouted and then waited until the large manservant came into the room. "Would you get another fork, Lara has taken it upon herself to become clumsy and has dropped it on the floor."

The man nodded and marched off. Mokkera turned to me. "I've been thinking about this and I don't think it is right for me to call you by your first name, but only give you my last. So I'll tell you my first name, since it's only fair. My name is Kane J. Mokkera." He stood in wait as if to ask the silent question, what do you think? Nevertheless, all I did was sit and stare, until Volge walked in, breaking my line of sight.

"Thank you." was all I ground out.

After I finished my meal, I feigned a yawn and laid my head against my pillow as if to fall asleep. Kane leaned over me about five minutes later and tried to take my arm to cuff it again. I tugged it away in a mock dream and mumbled something about a cat before rolling over and clutching my arm tightly against me.

He sighed and threw his hands up; I heard them lightly hit his sides as he exited the room, locking the door behind him.

My eyes stayed shut and I "slept" for a good hour before I heard the two men walking down a gravel path just below my window. Then I went to work, grabbing the fork and bending back a tine to pick the locks. As I finished the last cuff on my ankle, I looked around. Both the window and the door were locked. I could break the glass in the window and climb out, but that would attract some attention as well as give me unwanted cuts, being I was now barefoot. There were the double doors leading into the room, but who knows who else is in the house. Moreover, it wouldn't be easy to get away from Volge if he got his hands on me. I had to get my stuff. But what way should I go?[/ffstory]

Oh, yeah. I sent you one back. At first I didn't know
what you were talking about in the e-mail but later
I looked at the address and realized that it was my
    other address.
Thanks, we'll give it a test run and see how
    well it works.

I'm watching a show on Zombies! :o Ahhhggg!
It's cool. Stuff on VooDoo and witchcraft, and all
kinds of stuff. I found a website that has lots of
artifact styled stuff that I want to buy some things
off of for TR props. When I get some stuff I'll send
you guys some pics. I can't wait!
