Heavenly Sword

  • I just thought i'd give Heavenly Sword a mention as i think its a fantastic game. I love the graphics and the gameplay, its a pleasure to play.

The story is about an almighty weapon called the Heavenly Sword which if in the wrong hands will have devastating affects. The main character (you) is called Nariko and she must protect the sword from people who crave it's power. Its partly directed by and starring the voice of Andy Serkis (the voice of Golem in The Lord Of The Rings). I think it has AMAZING voice acting and great cinematics! You should all try this if you get a PS3! Not bad for a free game included in the price :P

    Anyone else played it?

  • I wanted to get it at first, but then I bought Genji when I got my PS3 and as the games seemed to be along the same lines, I am not getting Heavenly Sword yet (waiting for it to get cheaper) or at least after Assassin's Creed and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune

  • Assassin's Creed looks good, along with the Uncharted: Drake's Fortune one as well. Kinda Tomb Raider-ish. I don't have a PS3, and I don't plan on getting one. I heard from several different sources that it's a waste of money and the worst game system, [hehe] . Sucks for them who wasted a well earned 600$.

Yeah i want assassin's creed too, it looks fantastic. But it looks as though it could be hard. Heavenly sword isn't too hard really, but i like that.

^ :O they arent a waste hehehe i think they're a bit scammy when it comes to cables though.

  • I'm on the second assassination on Memory Block 4 in Assassin's Creed which takes place in Acre I believe, and I have to kill William de Monferriat. Going back to Heavenly Sword, the woman reminds me a bit of Lara Croft/Sydney Bristow, [hehe] . I saw the strategy guide at Wally World and I can't tell you how envious I was of PS3 owners at that time, :D . It looked amazing.
