The official site for TRA doesn't seem to be updated, still showing a release date of May 2007 for the US, UK, and Germany, but http://www.tombraiderchronicles.com/headlines3244.html and other sources report a new date of June 5 in North America for PS2 and PC, with PSP coming shortly thereafter. I don't know about European release dates.
TRA release date update?

Eidos press-release:
QuoteEidos Announces North American Street Date for Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary
Tuesday April 24, 10:00 am ET
New Adventure Inspired by One of the Classic All Time Games Set for Release June 5th, 2007REDWOOD CITY, Calif., April 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Eidos Interactive Ltd., one of the world's leading publishers and developers of entertainment software, today confirms that Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary will be on store shelves throughout North America from June 5th, 2007 for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system and Windows PC.
As one of the most successful games of all time, selling over seven million copies worldwide, the original Tomb Raider was widely credited for revolutionizing adventure gaming. Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary offers players a brand new adventure, inspired by Lara's original adventure.
"Tomb Raider: Anniversary offers Lara fans something highly original, but also offers gamers who are new to Lara, a completely fresh and new action adventure game," said Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Robert Lindsey, Eidos, Inc.
Created with an advanced version of the engine used for Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legend, the gameplay mechanics, artificial intelligence and level puzzles of Tomb Raider: Anniversary are now more refined, in-depth and complex. The technology has also enabled all of the nostalgic environments from the original adventure to be envisioned on a much grander scale. Most importantly, Tomb Raider: Anniversary faithfully preserves the elements which made the original such a success.
"The original Tomb Raider made Lara Croft into the digital icon that she is today," said Director of Marketing, Matt Gorman, Eidos, Inc. "Tomb Raider: Anniversary is our way of paying tribute to Lara Croft and the history of the franchise by exploring the roots of what made the Tomb Raider game successful."
Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary is developed by Crystal Dynamics and will be on store shelves June 5th, 2007 for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system and Windows PC. Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary on the PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system will be released shortly thereafter.

I read somewhere that the release date for the PC and PS2 versions will be the 10th of June and the PSP will follow shortly.
-
according to the online game sites i visit, its still the 25th of May, lets hope it stays there!
-
the 25th is the date for Europe (hopefully stays that way), the 6th of June for North America (confirmed, look at the press release posted above)
-
Damn! All of you will have already finished playing it by the time I get my hands on it!! :einfall
-
Dont be so sure, Grape. South Africa is usually the last to receive new stuff.
-
I'm not sure on May25th! Cuz there's something on the demo, that says that he might came in May24th(a day before the release).
It just doesn't seems possible those both releases together! So, in conclusion:
- If the demo cames in May24th, the game will be in June.
- If the demo cames earlier, the game might be on May25th! -
either way i'm pre-ordering it so i get it the day before release

not to say that it's good that SA gets stuff last though -
I think EVERYTHING should be released at the same time everywhere around the globe. They all talk about how great everything it today but then there's still the problem with different release dates.
-
I see what you mean, when i buy the game as soon as its released here, if i get stuck an not a lot of other people have it i wont have any one to help me with it! I had a similar problem when i bought Tomb raider legend, i was looking for a walk through and no one had made one online but thats how i found this forum it helped me
-
With Legend I managed to write the walkthrough (first draft in German) very fast, but I always have the obstacle that I have to write it in English and German and one of these will come later. But I am sure we will be able to help each other here.

That's harsh, but we all have to exept it -
