I think it's time for me to collect all the facts for the wiki.

Very nice

I'd like to see some gameplay material about the another level that was shown behind closed doors. It'd show more platforming and such. Seeing more of Lara's animations, maybe some combat too, would be so great!
Maybe Crystal Dynamics/Game Informer or someone else releases some footage later... :chin -

Amazing video. I like the new bits of the trailer, such as the extended version of drowning Lara

Man that video is awesome! It's great to see how the trailer was made, Visual Works was an excellent choice to do the CGI (and maybe will do more cinematics for TR? :chin ). I also liked the background music very much! Whoever is the composer, he/she is doing a very good job with the music!

Apologies for the double post, but I've stumbled across a few comments on the upcoming game's story on the Official Tomb Raider Blog.
Readers of the blog are able to post questions conserning the upcoming game, and there are two questions that caught my eye with their answers. The first one is about whether Lara's history is still the same compared to earlier games or not, answer to it is
QuoteWe’re not diving into Lara’s past just yet - that is an important part of the story we want you to discover through the game! Trust me, sometimes experiences are better left unspoiled. : )
The second one is about whether the game has "an "actual" storyline that evolves as the game grows" or not, and the answer to that is
QuoteThere will most definitely be a strong narrative in addition to Lara’s growth and evolution as a character!
Keep your eyes on the blog, people!

I am now officially following too many people on twitter.
I know right. That's the first thing I did when I welcomed back my addiction to Lara .
I'm so excited about Turning Point, obviously for the game but as a fan fiction follower- I'd love to be exposed to a more vulnerable and emotional Lara to fuel hopefully many more fics. And of course, as a role model of sorts; here's a twenty-one year old Lara being thrust into a world where she must use what she knows to survive (significant 'cause I'm 20 in September, though note that I will not be boarding a sea liner in hopes that it submerges and forcibly removes me from my comfort zone of my computer chair, god forbid. :3)
Thanks for compiling the info guys, has saved from scavenging for the info myself

And sorry for replying to own post!
News on a tenth instalment of the Tomb Raider Series have come into the daylight, everybody! There will be a comic series that will continue the rebooted storyline, written by comic writer Gail Simone - and this comic series will most likely lead to a direct sequel of the ninth Tomb Raider game! The comic series is due out on 26th of February 2014, quite a long wait but I bet it's worth it. In the meantime I'll be looking for all those tiny things I missed on TR9 on the first playthrough, finished it with 79%.

Not necessarily news on the ninth TR game, but I didn't know where else I'd post this.
